More About Tiffiny Hall...

Tiffiny Hall is a radiant role model. Writer, Fifth Dan black belt, Taekwondo instructor, Biggest Loser trainer and TV presenter, she has many titles tucked under her black belt.

Tiffiny made her television debut on Gladiators in 2008, where she starred as the charming Angel. Since then, her TV credits have expanded, having had a regular spot on TEN’s The Circle as personal trainer to Chrissie Swan and The Project.

Nicknamed the ‘Health Ninja’, it wasn’t long until The Biggest Loser called. She is currently filming her second season of the show and continues to inspire contestants to “Get their ninja on!” She empowers her contestants to lose weight, find self-esteem, gain confidence and change their lives through her holistic martial arts approach. In her first series of the show, Tiffiny trained the winner of Season 6, Emma Duncan.

In 2009 she published her first book, Create the Ultimate Body and Keep It!.Tiffiny published her second health book Weightloss Warrior in 2011 and is currently working on a cookbook of health recipes.

Tiffiny has been put forward for a TV Week Logie 2012 nomination for Most Popular New Female.

My main satisfaction in being a Biggest Loser trainer is:
Helping others to unleash their inner warrior and reach their full potential. This means not only physical transformation but mental renovation and spiritual development. My training philosophy is based on Taekwondo - a mind, body, spirit approach to holistic wellness. I love seeing the contestants gain more respect and love for themselves and earning the gift of confidence.
My proudest moment on The Biggest Loser so far is:
Training the winning contestant Emma Duncan in series 6.
The qualities I want my team to show me this year are:
The qualities of the Taekwondo code of conduct: honour, integrity, humility, perseverance and courage. I want them to train like warriors!
What I'm looking forward to most about this series is:
Teaching the contestants that healthy food doesn't have to be boring and that exercise is empowering. I'm also looking forward to teaching them to love themselves, so that they can then go out into the world and find loving relationships.

On the show, my weight-loss warriors will be earning their black belts in health. They will be graded through five levels of commitment from white belt beginners through to yellow, blue, red and finally to black belt self-mastery. We will focus not only on fitness but also mental, physical, spiritual wellness.

My favourite healthy snack is:
Salad turkey wraps or baked mini ricotta vegetable pies.
The motto I live by is:
Weight-loss warriors are not made in gyms, they are made in the mind. To change your life, you must first change your thinking. You must train the mind, and the mind will train the body. When you train the mind then hard training will bring easy combat.
The piece of advice I'd give people wanting to start their own weight loss journeys is:
A million mile journey begins with one single step. Start today with a single healthy choice and build on it. Don't think milestones yet, think inchpebbles - slow and steady will lead to lasting change.
