Ryan is tired of being judged by the public, he wants to be able to play in the park with his friends and their children and enjoy being oudoors. He would like to meet his soul mate and start a family of his own. Ryan would also like to travel overseas.
Ryan has broken the world record by becoming the largest contestant to take part in The Biggest Loser! Ryan admits to being lazy and would love nothing more than to be able to play sports and do everything with his friends that he is currently missing out on. He is determined to lose the weight and get his life back.
Ryan has been judged most of his life due to his weight and uses humour to mask his weight issues. He once lost 65 kilograms when a student asked him why has was so fat, but due to laziness and poor diet his weight spiralled to an uncontrollable size.
For Ryan, the best part about being a contestant is the chance to change his life for good and get healthy. His is embracing the changes he is yet to face and looks forward to being confident and happy on the inside. “I want to gain self-esteem, respect for myself and more energy.”
Ryan is preparing himself for the journey by keeping an open mind and knowing her has a great support testing.
