I must say, throughout the season I have had a love hate relationship with Margie, but over the past few weeks she had really grown on me… and I must say, I’m absolutely stoked she was crowned this year’s Biggest Loser. Margie has been on top of the competition the whole way through – winning challenges, taking out Weigh In’s, she is an absolute fitness freak! If anyone deserves the title this season, it’s Margie. What a legend!

Margie wasn’t the only one I was looking at through finale though – didn’t the contestants all look HOT!!!! Before I went on the biggest loser I used to cry at every contestant who came out next to their larger frame…. I think because I wished so desperately that I was the one walking out skinny next to the “old me”! But this year I just couldn’t remove the smile from my face! These contestants have all had months of exercising for hours on end each day while maintaining a super strict diet. I think if anything these contestants now need a much-deserved holiday!

I have to say, Lydia blew my mind. She is a muscle machine! I have never seen guns like that on a woman (except from a few pro body builders)! Lydia looks like she will be a fitness fanatic for years to come. I think Michelle on the other hand has a great singing career ahead of her because WOW, that girl can sing! She absolutely stole the show last night with her performance with James.

All in all the finale was an absolute success. All the contestants looked incredible in their new and improved bods, and I’m sure many Australian’s out there shed a tear last night while their favourite contestant/s strutted their stuff. I think that’s what’s so great with the show – it inspires other people to start on their own weight loss journeys. I still stand by what I said at the end of our finale, which is – don’t wait for The Biggest Loser to pluck you out of a crowd of thousands, because the feeling you get at the end is something not worth waiting for. Give yourself a challenge now that Loser is over. By next season – be well on your way to your dream outfit or your goal weight.

I want to thank you all for putting up with my rambling this year throughout The Biggest Loser. Thank you to TEN for actually posting my rambles, and for my beautiful man Andy for being so supportive, loving and for being by my side throughout every episode this year! I have loved every minute of watching the season, and it has actually been extremely therapeutic for me to sit down and watch the show again! It really is quite amazing how much The Biggest Loser changed my life, and I will forever be thankful for the experience.
