With Biggest Loser well and truly on the home stretch to finale now – the game Is certainly starting to take some massive twists and turns for our contestants!
The week started with our last remaining lovers being separated with the sad elimination of Simon… and what a lovely guy he is! I think personally he needs to be there more then Lisa now (but I guess that’s what everyone else saw too when they were thinking of strategy!)
This week’s Weigh-In delivered some drama with Graham copping a serve from his trainer – the Commando. Most women in Australia would love to have the Commando yelling at them (because let's face it – he’s not too bad on the eye) but in Graham’s case, I think it was certainly unwanted. I don’t know about you, but since that Weigh-In – I haven’t seen Graham train this hard since.... well… ever!!! He is absolutely smashing it up now!
While Graham smashed it up in training, the rest of the contestants went to try their luck at trapeze school and rock climbing! For some of these contestants, massive fears were conquered in this session, and confidence would have been built knowing they can climb a rock wall (or take to a trapeze). I know at my heaviest I wouldn’t have gone near a trapeze school with fears the bars couldn’t hold my weight. For some of these contestants nine weeks ago they couldn’t even tie their own shoelaces. Now they are swinging from a trapeze. Awesome huh?
Speaking of fun – I would LOVE to have a crack at this week’s Contest! What a hoot! I was expecting Michelle to totally nail this challenge – but Lisa took out the contest giving her the power of The Walk. And didn’t she do well with choosing the right box this week? Lisa took out the ultimate power of having one-on-one training with Michelle Bridges until Weigh-In (much to Lydia’s disgust). With such an advantage I am positive Lisa will smash the next Weigh-In.. well… that was until she copped a 1kg disadvantage in the challenge. (Poor Lisa – it really hasn’t been her week!!)
The week ended with a little French delight in the form of Temptation. I don’t know about you, but if Adriano Zumbo’s cakes were in front of me – I wouldn’t even need strategy as an excuse… I would be tempted!!! As soon as I saw Michelle’s piece of V8 chocolate cake I knew she would have it in the bag. Just the icing itself would be enough to send me into a small chocolate coma! Luckily for Michelle she beat Lydia (who smashed three cakes) and secured herself and her team mate Kasey immunity for the week.
I am going to take a stab and say it will be a red member going home next Elimination. With White being safe, and Red having three members remaining, I have a feeling a massive target will be placed on any Red member dropping below the Yellow Line. What’s your prediction??
Till next week fellow Loser addicts,
Lara xxx
