Sadly the week started with the sad Elimination of Ryan from the Blue Team. The largest competitor in the competition (EVER) and unfortunately it seemed the only competitor in the series who really had quite a few rivals against him (even on his on team!) I hope the penny drops for Ryan on the outside and we all get a HUGE shock at finale.

The first Immunity Challenge saw each competitor having to move one tonne of bricks. The fight was on between Margie and Luke, two of this year’s toughest competitors... but in the end it was Luke who took out the prize: that all important immunity plus a 24 hour leave pass to anywhere he wanted. And what he wanted was to head straight to the pub to meet up with family and friends. I bet the beer tasted AMAZING after all that time without any! I remember the night of our finale having one too many glasses of champagne… let me tell you – some of my photos from that night ended up being quite humiliating!

With one of the three Immunities gone, I can imagine the pressure around the camp to be pretty intense. Because you have nothing else to do but exercise, eat and sleep at Camp Biggest Loser you do A LOT of guessing about how the game will unfold. The director would always tell us “Guys – just trust the process”… but we preferred to try and guess it instead! So I can honestly imagine a surprise weigh in would have probably been the last guess on the contestant’s minds! And after the crappy week she had last week – I was pleased to see Lydia take out the second Immunity prize.

The third and final Immunity prize came at the cost of a few boxes of chocolate… I wonder who would be tempted? Maybe the same Blue Team member that is always tempted? (I feel like his mum here)… HAAAMMIIISSHHHHH!!! What are you thinking??? I still find Hamish absolutely adorable (teddy bear adorable) and I can’t help but laugh every time he cracks a cheeky smile. I must say, I can empathise with him, at that stage of the game – a hug from your mum is a HUGE temptation! I think he has a little bit of making up to do with his teammates in the next few weeks (maybe not Michelle so much though after those beautiful flowers– Ooooooooo).

With all three immunities taken, the remaining members scramble to get the last advantage (or in this case, not to be disadvantaged)! I remember seeing a similar challenge a few years back on BL and wow it looks tough! I have to say, I was quite disappointed to see the White Team ganging up on Selena. I understand frustration, and how important it would be to not cop a disadvantage going into the weigh in… but really… I think some of the things Bek was saying could have been a little less harsh. If I were Selena – I would have told them all to get stuffed and walked away too.

Anyway – there is my vent!
