Single week has arrived at Camp Biggest Loser – and what a perfect time to introduce it!
Last week we saw some pretty major alliances forming, and now alliances have gone out the window as it’s now up to each individual to make sure they stay above the Yellow Line!
The week started with a sad farewell for Selena (well – it was sad for me, but apparently she was quite happy to go!!). I really hope she kicks ass outside with her positive influences around her. (After the week she had with Margie I don’t blame her wanting to be around loved ones!) I know thousands of people look up to Selena – so I can’t wait to see her strut her stuff at finale and prove her time outside the house was well worth leaving!
While Selena is training hard at home, the contestants found themselves faced with.. well.. themselves! Life size photos on day 1 at Camp Biggest Loser found the contestants facing a Contest like no other. This Contest had the contestants strapping on the weight they had already lost to compete in a running race. Lisa took the contest out meaning she had the power to go on The Walk.
But the power didn’t mean a great deal this week – as no sooner did Alex get the penalty of being tied to Graham for the week – he pulled out and copped a two kilo disadvantage for doing so. WITH GOOD REASON!!! Alex is claustrophobic, clearly embarrassed about it, and now has been dealt a disadvantage because of his phobia. How sucky is that? I love Alex… he’s a sweetie!
While we’re on the topic of sweeties – how GORGEOUS is Graham!?!?! I LOVE GRAHAM! I have a bet going with my man that he will find love in the first month of leaving the house. With all the ladies in Australia watching him, I’m sure he will have to fight them off with a stick!! While I’m on the topic of praising Graham – how awesome was his training session back home? He nailed it!!!!
Let’s also quietly mention he later nailed some serious sushi at Temptation…. And poor Graham lost out!! Simon scored a laptop and workout equipment for eating some sushi, Margie took out Immunity, and poor Graham went back with zilch! Poor Graham… particularly when he had to eat the eel. I have to agree with Simon though… Margie was pushing the boundaries! She’s funny and quirky – but she can go overboard! So much so that she broke down to Michelle about some of the contestants not liking her. I can see this week the pressure of the game is taking it’s toll.
It was about this time for me when I really started to feel the struggles of the game and the game playing. I often tell people that the weight loss was the easiest part of being on BL… it was the “game” that was the hardest. You win something, and your prize was to disadvantage someone else! Fun, NOT! Because at the end of the day when the cameras pack up for the night, you are stuck in a house with these contestants – and let me tell you – it can get icy in the Loser house!
Till next week guys and gals,
Lara xxx
