i started my weight loss journey in july 2011, i have been training with a personal trainer and joined my local gym... i figured if i could afford junk food, beer and takeaway food, if i cut that all out i could afford the trainer!!!!! I have kept to a realisitic healthy eating plan, which includes loads of salad and plenty of fresh vegetables. I eat 5 small meals a day, i have cut out all bread, sugar, rice and potatoes.... At first it was tough going to break my old habits as i am a BIG beer lover but as the days went by i did not miss it at all! I allow myself one day per week when i can have something naughty in moderation, but to be honest i dont really bother unless i am out with friends... I am also mixing up my exercise by doing some bushwalking, every sunday when it isnt raining lol.... i am really enjoying the fresh air and NEVER realised i could enjoy walking so much!!!!! I am on track to lose my final 10kgs, my goal weight is around 70kgs. I feel AMAZING and i am so happy!!
