I had always been fairly thin my whole life but since highschool my weight had started to steadily climb. I have a desk job and that combined with my new habit of drinking 1.5Litres of Iced Coffee and eating a whole family block of chocolate a day (my vices) had seen my weight grow to its highest figure of 76kg. Whilst I was always within a 'healthy' BMI I knew something had to change. With my upcoming wedding approaching I had found the motivation I needed to do something about my increasing waistline. I joined a gym, hired a wonderful PT, started playing social touch football and joined The Biggest Loser Diet Club. Over a period of 12mths I lost the weight - slowly, steadily and safely. Whilst I did fall short of my goal weight of 62kg, I was the happy, healthy and toned bride I wanted to be. Best of all it is 8mths later and I have maintained my new healthier lifestyle.
